SCOTT MACLEOD

Baritone Scott MacLeod has sung extensively with some of the nation’s leading regional houses and abroad and he also excels as a diverse and engaging interpreter of both new works and seasoned classics. In recent months, he performed A Water Bird Talk with Long Leaf Opera, A Night at the Opera with the Saginaw Bay Symphony, and La Traviata with Opera on the James. Upcoming performances include The Telephone with Greensboro Opera, La Bohème with the Duluth Festival Opera, and selections from Mendelssohn’s Elijah at Carnegie Hall. He will play the role of Masetto in Opera on the James’ April production of Don Giovanni. Scott is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds a fellowship master’s degree from Florida State University.
